Tea Caddy

Tea Caddy

Single Octagonal Tea Caddy veneered in Harewood (Sycamore) with oval bat's wing medallions to the top & front with a turned bone finial to the top and unusual decorative Doric columns to its cants. The Tea Caddy is edged with boxwood with a tulipwood cross banding framing the top & front.

The interior contains a single mahogany floating lid & brass handle and contains most of its original tin lining.

The idea behind a floating lid rather than a lid that sits on supports is the floating lid sits on top of the tea leaves to keep it nice and fresh.

This fantastic tea caddy with its elongated octagonal design shows off its superb cabinet making skills of eyecatching inlays at its very best.

Tea Caddy comes complete with fully working lock and tasselled key.
