Description

Elegant Coromandel Tantalus by retailers Benetfink Cheapside with silver-plated carrying handle and silver-plated decoration on the sides and front.
The Tantalus contains 3 superb full cut Hobnail decanters with faceted stoppers & star-cut bases - all contained in a satinwood surround within the coromandel frame.
The handles are engraved with a Crown on either end, The Tantalus 45602 and Benetfink Cheapside.




This beautiful Tantalus comes complete with fully working lock and tasselled key.




Decanter size is as follows: H 8.75" X 3"Sq



Coromandel, a species of ebony known as Makassar Ebony, is a valuable and scarce wood from India & Sri Lanka.
