Description

Visually stunning Chess Piece Lamp - a real statement piece for any interior.

The Pawn Chess piece modelled as a Saxon Soldier, was made to resemble stone but is actually made of resin.
Due to it having lived outside and being played as part of a giant outdoor chess set in the beautiful gardens of a large English country house since the 60s, it has weathered superbly and still shows remains of lichen in places.

The Saxon Chess piece Lamp sits on a black turned wooden base, has an antiqued brass-finish fixing for a shade of your choice, a torpedo switch and black silk flex which is let into the back of the base.

This piece was one of just sixteen pieces at the time we acquired it. As we were unable to trace the set of black pieces, we decided to convert these wonderful pieces into unique table lamps, designed to make an impact in any decor.
Every single piece has been professionally converted, PAT tested and comes with a guarantee (attached to the underside of the base).
