Description

Japanese Meiji period Lacquered Table cabinet decorated with recessed panels of birds with flowers and foliage on a red / brown lacquer back ground.

The Lacquered Table cabinet has two hinged doors over a single drawer and opens to reveal six small drawers. The interior is superbly decorated with mount fuji, smaller mountains, fishing boats, and a pagoda building, all of its hard furniture such as swing handles and hinges are engraved and made of a bronzed copper.
